I want to share with you this polymer clay flower earrings tutorial that I find it so appealing!

For this Polymer clay flower earrings tutorial you will need:

white, yellow, black and fuchsia polymer clay
cutter
rolling tool
earrings pin

Let’s get started!

Take the white and fuchsia polymer clay and make a gradient sheet as shown in the first 4 figures. Press it with your fingers until you obtain a cylinder.

Take the yellow polymer clay and make tree tiny sheets. Take the black piece of polymer clay and make a small cylinder. Use the sixth figure as example and adapt it to your first cylinder length.

Use a cutter to insert into the middle of the pink cylinder the yellow sheet with the black cylinder above. Use the seventh figure as example.

Make two smaller cuts, one on the left of the yellow line and one on the right and insert the remaining yellow sheets and black cylinders. You should have a cylinder like in the eighth figure.

Press the cylinder with your hands to give it an elongated shape.

Take a small piece of remaining clay, make a ball out of it and press it with your fingers. This will be the first layer of your earrings. Cut slices out of the elongated shape cylinder and add them to the base as it will be the petals of the flower. In the middle of the flower you can also use remaining clay or you can make small dots or you can add rhinestones. Bake it and the apply earring pins.

The author of this tutorial also made hair clips! You can also make bracelets, rings or pendants if you want to have a complete set of this beautiful flowers.

Polymer clay peonies bouquet tutorial

The idea of a polymer clay peonies bouquet tutorial came as I was talking to a friend of mine who makes flower arrangements. She recently was asked to make a peonies bouquet, so why not to have a bouquet that never fades. I absolutely love peonies, they are so fluffy and beautiful!

I’ve made a lot of failed attempts but have finally found a way that I think gives great results! So I thought I’d share it with you

For this polymer clay peonies bouquet tutorials you will need:

– pink, green, fuchsia polymer clay;
– leaf mold;
– pink and green ribbon;
– wire;
– scissor;

First step in making a flower are the petals and when we think about the peonies there are lots of petals involved :). Take pink polymer clay and make lots of drops. Take every drop and curl it on the larger edge as shown in the next picture.

Take the petals and raise them with your hands. Let the middle ones form a bud and then uncoil the petals from the edge

Your peony flower should look like this.

Take green polymer clay and make some leafs. You can use a leaf mold as shown in the picture below or you can use a cuter or a toothpick to create the same effect.

Next step contains in creating the flower buds. Make a ball with pick and fuchsia polymer clay. Add some green polymer clay to create the leaf effect on the bus. Use the next picture to inspire.

Cut the wire in the length of the flower stems and cover them with green polymer clay. Add the stems to each object you created and combine them. Use the green ribbon to fix them.

When the bouquet is ready, add some pink ribbon to cover the stems. You can use also roses in this bouquet. Click here to open the roses tutorial.

Polymer clay rose tutorial

I decided to share with you this polymer clay rose tutorial I’ve found. It’s easy and has a lot of photos that describe each step. For those of you who want to decorate your projects with roses, hopefully the following step by step tutorial will help you have one special rose.

Although the author of this polymer clay rose tutorial is using a five petal cutter for most of the petals the rose can be also made using single petals

What you will need for this rose tutorial:
one color of polymer clay
rolling board
rolling pins
5 petal blossom cutter
cutter
glue
wire if you want to add the rose to a bouquet

Follow the pictures to create your own rose.

Polymer clay flower ring tutorial

This polymer clay flower ring tutorial is on my to do list for some time. I share it with you in case you can dedicate more time than me for your passion.

In my fairy tail dreams is raining with flowers, tiny little flowers, all type and all colors! I waited so long for summer to come just to wear all my flower jewelry!

For this polymer clay ring tutorial you will need
– fuchsia, lila and green polymer clay
– cutter
– toothpick
– brush
– varnish
– glue
– ring base
– plastic needles and plastic sheet

I won’t insist about the gradient sheet, this is subject of another tutorial.

Roll the sheet from the lila part. You should obtain a cylinder like the one in picture no 3. Press it on a edge and cut thinly slices of gradient polymer clay. Press them with your finger.

Take the plastic sheet and press it with the thickest part of the cuter like in the 6th image. You can use a petal or a leaf mold. Take one by one the slices and press them into the mold you just realized.

Take the first polymer clay petal and curl it on the largest edge and apply glue on the smallest one. Take the second petal, curl it as you did with the first one and apply it to the first one covering 20% of it. Repeat the procedure with the rest of the petals. IS not a perfect number of petals, you can use as many as you want. In this polymer clay ring flower tutorial there are used nine petals, 5 for the first layer and 4 for the second one.

Take a small part of polymer clay and create a ball. Apply it in the center of the flower. Take a toothpaste and ruffle it. Take the plastic needles and stick them into the ball.  In this polymer clay ring flower tutorial the needles ends are heated to create the effect of stamens.

Take a green piece of polymer clay and fix the ring base like in the picture 17.

Polymer clay Piglet tutorial

“What day is it?” asked Pooh
“It’s today”, squeaked Piglet
“My favorite day”, said Pooh

Since I started this amazing project fimodiy, every day became a special one. There are so many nice things you can create that I feel like good mood will never end.

This article describes how to realize a polymer clay Piglet, the very nice friend of Winnie the Pooh .

For this polymer clay Piglet tutorial you will need:

fuchsia , pink and black polymer clay
glue
cutter,
leaf tool,
ball tool
thin brush

Take two pink balls and with the little finger or a tool make a groove on each one.

Round up the bottoms as shown in the picture. This will be the Piglet’s legs

Stick a toothpick in one of the legs you create to sustain the body.

Place the other leg next to the one with the toothpick as shown in the picture

Take the fuchsia polymer clay and model a cone out of it. This will become the Piglet’s body.

With the leaf tool create the lines on the body.

To to shape head you will need a piece of pink clay almost as big as the body. First of all create a boll out of it.

We pluck the nose with two fingers to create the projection of the nose

With cutter cut the width of the mouth

For this step you will need a ball tool to raise the corners of the mouth. 

Pull out the upper lip with leaf tool. 

With the same tool lower the bottom of the mouth.

Return to the ball tool to adjust the cheeks.

Engrave on the nose with a small ball tool two holes for the eyes.

Shape into small balls of black polymer clay  we’re going to put in two small holes for the eyes that you engraved on the nose.

Combine 1 part of fuchsia polymer clay with 2 parts of pink polymer clay and forme a small sphere. Paste it on the nose and squash it a little bit.

Form two small balls of fuchsia polymer clay.

Press them with the leaf tool to form the ears.

Apply the body on the toothpick, then the head and stick the ears.

As the last step in this polymer clay Piglet tutorial you have to shape the arms from two small cylinders with flattened end. Use a cutter to cut the hairline to the body and stick them to the body.

Polymer clay Winnie the Pooh tutorial

“When you see someone putting on his Big Boots, you can be pretty sure that an Adventure is going to happen.” said Winnie-the-Pooh.

Dears, take your big boots today because your childhood is coming back with a nice figurine!  Use this polymer clay Winnie the Pooh tutorial to make someone a special surprise, this bear will come to life.

For this polymer clay Winnie the Pooh tutorial you will need:

red sugar paste, black and yellow (divided as in the picture)
modeling tool
1 cutter
1 black marker
2 dough cutters

With the largest portion of yellow sugar paste formed a pear, this will be the body of the pooh

With his finger light pressure to about half of its height, to form the bulge of the belly.

Roll out the dough of red sugar and, with the dough cutter, formed a semicircle to which subtract a smaller semi-circle at the top.

Take the other two small pieces of yellow polymer clay and form two cylinders to achieve the arms .Use the same procedure used for the legs, press with a finger to get the wrist and the hand.

The other arm instead give a fold to half its length.

With the red polymer clay line the upper arms.

Eliminate the excess and you will get so the sleeves of his shirt.

Glued to the body made. You will glue the second arm after positioning the head.

Place a toothpick in Winnie’s body, making it tick the top, where you will place the head.

Now take the yellow sugar remaining dough and knead until an egg shape.

With a modeling tool press to extract the eye area and bring out the nose.

Polymer clay Lumpy elephant tutorial

Today we will learn how to make the tender little elephant friend of Winnie the Pooh, on its name Lumpy. Hope you’ll enjoy this polymer clay Lumpy elephant tutorial  as much as I do! Tip to help you create other characters : get images of the character in different poses.

For this polymer clay Lumpy elephant tutorial you will need:

lilac , purple, pink and black polymer clay
glue,
brush,
for modeling tools,
toothpick,
black paint and varnish

1. For the body shape purple pear-shaped, insert a toothpick in it that will help support the weight of the head.

2. For the legs, make 4 pieces of lilac polymer clay the same size, shape them cone-shaped giving the right angle as in the photo.

3. With the knife tool to make two small incisions in the lower part of the legs.

4. Use the glue to stick the legs to the body.

5. Take another lilac piece and give it a pear shape with the part well rounded up. This will be the head of your polymer clay elephant

6. Slightly attach the head to the body to give naturalness to the character.

7. For the proboscis shape a piece of lilac polymer clay in cone shape. Make the broad base and the tip a little ‘squashed.

8. Glue the trunk giving it movement and creating creases with the help of modeling tools.

9. Use a soft-tipped brush or with the ball tool to create a recess in the end

10. With the knife tool create corners of the mouth. Hmm it start looking like an elephant, isn’t it?

11. To lay your ears take lilac polymer clay and shape thin enough. Use a cutter to cut the shape shown in the next picture and then press it with your fingers around the edges

12. With the dough rose polymer clay create the interior of the ears following the same procedure as before, sticking them to the purple part.

13. Use glue to stick the ears to the head. Now our figurine is definitively a polymer clay elephant!

14. With the small balls of black polymer clay create eyes and eyebrows, stick them in the head with very little glue

15-16. Make 5 small strips of purple polymer clay rolled (help with a pin or a needle) to create the curls that make up the tuft and attach them to the head.

17. As the next step in this polymer clay Lumpy elephant tutorial you have to define the particular legs with the same purple polymer clay.

18. With a small purple ball form the tail and attach it to the body and use a scissors to create the fur effect.

19. When the subject is baked, you can use varnish to give a touch of light to the pupils

Polymer clay feather tutorial

Use this polymer clay feather tutorial to learn a new polymer clay technique.

Depending on your creativity and imagination with this technique  you can make feathers of any shape and color. 

In this example, I’ll make feathers with stripes and specks – a kind of fantasy mixture of feather pheasant and guinea fowl.

For this polymer clay feather tutorial you will need following materials and tools:

– polymer clay – beige, dark brown, dark gray and white colors;

– pasta-machine or other tools for rolling;

– a knife, a blade from a clerical knife, a razor blade;

– a thick needle or awl;

– Stack for modeling or its improvised analog;

– brush with stiff bristles or toothbrush;

So, let’s get started!

To start with a paste machine or other tools, prepare a layer about 1.5-2 mm thick with a transition from beige to dark brown.

Cut the sheet into strips of arbitrary width. We also roll out the dark gray plastic in a similarly thick layer and cut into thin strips.

For the next step stack the strips of beige-brown and dark-gray layers alternately, creating one large striped layer.

Cut the sheet into half and then the both sheets cut diagonally

Add two outer and two inner triangles into two quadrangles.

Gently roll each quadrilateral so that its halves are joined together.

First drew the desired form on paper, and then cut out the pen from the polymer clay. The center of the pen should coincide with the connection line of the triangles.

Make small indentations on the tip of the pen to create specks. At this point the piece of polymer clay start looking as a feather.

Fill the dots with small beads of polymer clay and roll carefully the specks to make them equal to the surface.

Now, you have to texture your feather. To do this, we take the blade for the razor or the blade from the clerical knife and lightly press it against the surface of the piece and apply frequent parallel prints. The direction of the lines must coincide with the direction of the strips on the feather.

With a needle or an awl, we force a longitudinal groove along the middle of the pen.

In doing so, we try to make it very thin at the tip of the pen, gradually expanding to the base.

We form the core of the pen. We make a thin flagellum from polymer clay and carefully put it into the groove. Lightly press the flagellum stack to better bond it to the surface.

Make small wedge-shaped incisions in arbitrary places and slightly bend the edge of the cut to the side.
